Dropping may 2024, "Megafuana" will serve as the 1st project release for RRighteous. Having released several singles & videos before this E.P., RRighteous is now ready to deliver a full EP. Noting the growth of the artist, this project includes guest appearances from Lydia Caesar & Gucci Mane!
Also, noted on this project is the upgrade in production & management as RRighteous has now signed with a management firm & collaborated on this project with multiple platinum producers. All of the tracks on this project were produced by a Gold accredited producer or better w/ 3 songs having been produced by platinum producers. RRighteous is branching out!
The EP is titled "Megafauna!" Megafauna literally means; "Large Animal." RRighteous felt this title was the right one because as he see's it, we live in a jungle, (today's society), full of large animals (Corporations, Disease, Gangs, Politicians & Governments), that you must know how to identify & navigate in order to survive in man's man made jungle!
RRighteous is a man on a mission! Hailing from Wayne County, MS RRighteous has been very methodically planning for his success. Knowing what he wanted to do, but also know that there were not the resources needed to accomplish his goals in Wayne County, MS, he set out on a mission about 4 yrs ago.
1st he ventured off to Hattiesburg to get started recording. There he met his eventual manager Fish Beatz Digital. After that meeting & subsequent conversations the fire was lit & burning! For the last few years he has been meticulously piecing together the things he needs to go forward & excel as a recording artist!
The journey started w/ a 2yr traveling job to secure the funding he knew he would need to access the industry. Once the job was competed, he then moved the the Mississippi Gulf Coast to start his relationship with his current management team, Fish Beatz Digital., based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Now with all of the details taken care of he can simply work with management to further his career, and make his initial debut into the business of music making...
Thoughtfully curated lyrics will always be delivered by RRighteous! As the name implies, the man is on a mission to bring some consciousness, common sense, & righteousness back to the hip hop world.
RRighteouse writes lyrics about all of the ills, and the good in today's society. Never shying away from the "sensitive" or "controversial" topics of today, RRighteouse bravely attacks them all with the hope of raising awareness and starting the conversation. So, instead of simply glorifying Ignorance/Violence/Hate, he tries to put things into perspective & elaborate on them. The Good, The Bad, & Everything in between, nothing is left out of the thought process & conversation with this guy.
While focusing on messaging, RRighteous understands that music must be catchy, fun, & relevant, as well. So, he doesn't leave out the fun & joy of life only to rap about the evil & the depressing facets of life, he includes them all for a more well rounded picture.
Maticulous, Curated, Thought out, Skillfully written... Thats how we at 3rd Coast would describe this artists appraoch to making music. He wants every word to matter!
